After spending most of October, November and early December working on props and scenery for the pantomime, we have now dismantled all the large props and returned to our regular maintenance schedule. We were kept busy during pantomime week, in particular with a major blockage in the gents and disabled toilets. This caused considerable flooding and extensive work was carried out to resolve the issue.
The halls have just had a new boiler installed and some of the new pipework left holes in a number of walls. This week, we partially filled in some of these holes using a mixture of bricks and cement.
